While being totally committed to breeding sheep which perform, we are careful not to stray from the key attributes of the Lleyn breed:
- medium size (around 75 kg)
- prolific (around 200%)
- hardy with dense high quality fleece (and without any shedding)
- distinctive and feminine.

We select our flock replacements using very commercial criteria.

Our stock rams have been selected for length, conformation and style. For many years, we have been producing most of our own stock rams from our highest-performing LLEYN GOLD ewes.
|
We have supported local West Country Shows, where possible, since 2003. We have found it very informative to put our stock in front of Society Judges and get useful feedback.
We are members of the West Country Lleyn Sheep Breeders Club, which organises a biennial Flock Competition and, again, it has been helpful having feedback from well-respected Judges from out-of-region. |
